This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced social worker or an existing team manager. We are looking for someone with post qualification experience, and experience of supervising/mentoring other staff.

Main duties of the job

What makes the role unique?

This is a completely new role within adult social care. It is a specific role for a peripatetic team manager. The peripatetic team manager will report directly to the Principal Social Worker (PSW) and will be based at County Hall, Morpeth. The peripatetic team manager will work across the County as a support to existing team managers, as and when necessary. The other main priority for this post is to undertake quality assurance work, deputise for the PSW and lead on quality projects.
