Do you want tobe part of supporting and developing newly qualified social workers?

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a parttime(18.5 hours),Team Manager within the Social Work Academy Adult Social Care.

The role isa permanentpositionbased at County Hall, Morpeth, however the service is county wide across Northumberland.The Academy supports newly qualified social workers during their ASYE and apprentices during their 3 years of the degree course.

Main duties of the job

We areseekingskilled and experienced individualsto join our friendly,supportiveand exciting team.

The ideal candidate will be motivated, engaging, andpossessexcellent interpersonal and communication skills. Effective in working with others. Effective time management is essential to manage supervision ofstaffin supporting them toattainthe ASYE certificate.

Requirements of this role:

  • A professional social work qualificatione.g. Degree in Social Work,DipSW, CQSW, CSS
  • Valid Social Work England Registration
  • Evidence of continuous CPD profile
  • Knowledge and understanding of the ASYE framework and the Social Work apprenticeship
