• Clinical Leadership:Youll be the go-to clinical expert, leading the way in the 0-19 Public Health Nursing Service. Your knowledge and passion will ensure high-quality, evidence-based care for children with SEND, setting new standards for excellence.
• Service Development:Develop and implement innovative strategies and programmes that transform Health Visiting and School Nurse services. Your work will directly improve outcomes for children and families, making every day rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management for early identification, assessment, and support for children with SEND and their families.
• Develop referral pathways and work closely with multi-disciplinary teams.
• Provide advanced clinical advice and hold a small caseload for families needing extra support.
• Champion partnership working, communication, and information sharing.
• Undertake audits, research, and present findings to drive quality improvement.
• Uphold the highest standards of clinical governance, confidentiality, and safeguarding.

What Youll need to succeed:

• Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification Health Visiting or School Nursing.
• Experience working with SEND families and multi-disciplinary teams.
• Leadership skills, effective communication, and a passion for service improvement.
• Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and outstanding customer experience.
