Job summary

Park view is a day service for Adults with additional needs. We are based in Helston near the Penrose amenity area. We currently work Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30-4.30.

Main duties of the job

As part of a committed team that provides day opportunities for Adults with additional needs you will support each person to reach their goals as well as assisting with their personal needs. We need you to be enthusiastic, positive and self motivated.

This position will be subject to an enhanced criminal record disclosure check.

This is a fixed term post until 31st March 2025.

Essential

  • An understanding of the councils safeguarding process is essential as is the ability to read and competently write reports using the IT system to record information.

Desirable

  • Experience of supporting people with additional needs is an advantage but is not always necessary. We are looking for passion and commitment and the desire to have a positive impact on an individuals day.
