Job summary
As a Senior Residential Services Officer, youll provide leadership support to our friendly and supportive care team in our long stay CQC registered residential home for adults with learning disabilities. Along with to other Senior Residential Officers, youll support the Registered Manager to ensure we deliver a high-quality service that meets CQC and Care standards in line with our own internal policies and practices. You will be creating support plans and conducting risk assessments with the Service User, ensuring least restrictive options are always implemented.

Youll have a successful track record working in a social care setting and have the confidence and skill set to lead a team, deputising for the Manager as needed. Our Senior Residential Services Officers must be strong team players, so youll enjoy the opportunity to mentor others, enabling them to deliver the highest standards of care, in line with the latest CQC requirements. Most importantly youll role-model our core values to colleagues, showing patience, empathy and compassion, empowering people to be as independent and maximise their wellbeing.
As this is a 24/7 service, youll be required to work a shift pattern to respond to the demands of the service. Your working pattern will include working every other weekend and a variety of shifts including early, late, sleep-in shifts and bank holidays for which enhancements will be paid in line with the HCC salary policy.
