As a Nurse you'll deliver a broad range of healthcare services to older people
with mental and physical health needs, offering long term dementia care and bed
based reablement for hospital leavers, so no two days are ever the same.
You'll deal with clinical diagnosis and treatment, be responsible for the whole
patient experience and build relationships with the people in your care. Our
residents are at the heart of everything we do, and our sole aim is to give them
the dignity, respect and independence they deserve.
About us
Our location Fleming House is a 55 bed nursing and residential home on the outskirts of Eastleigh comprising of 30 nursing beds and 25 residential beds.
The home features a sunny, part paved / part grassed garden that is fully accessible to wheelchair users with plenty of seating so residents and visitors can enjoy the outside space. We have all the latest equipment to meet our residents needs along with a relaxed, welcoming and homely atmosphere.
Two hairdressers visit weekly and a chiropodist visits every other week. There is also a small shop on site that sells a variety of items including toiletries and sweets.
Our in house activity programme includes games, trips out, visiting entertainment and one to one sessions and we encourage families to attend. We encourage residents to be as independent as possible to enhance their quality of life and ensure a sense of wellbeing and fulfilment.
