Job summary

To provide direct intervention to children, young people and their families through the delivery of a varied family support offer in order to improve outcomes for children aligned to the Supporting Families Programme. To work collaboratively with partners and stakeholders, building on existing partnerships and developing service delivery arrangements as part of the Family Hub Network. To adopt a whole family approach to assessment, planning and intervention. Supporting Families have implemented a new 16 week Family Intervention Model.

Main duties of the job

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals who are able to build effective relationships with children, young people, families and partners. You will be able to see the life of a child using the lens of a whole family approach, being outcome focussed. You will be able to work with children and families from diverse backgrounds in a variety of environments including their homes.

This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
