A vacancy has arisen in the Finance Business Partnering team for a Senior Finance Officer to provide finance support to the Council and Senior Management Team. Reporting to Finance Managers, this role will support Adult & Children's Social Care.

Main duties of the job

Key deliverables and responsibilities for the roles are:

  • Supporting the Business Partnering team in revenue budget setting, monitoring and year end processes.
  • Providing technical expert advice to budget holders and officers to support decision-making.
  • Analytical ability to present financial information clearly and a curiosity to get into the detail beyond just financials in understanding the service in depth.
  • Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the financial support the service provides to the Council.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders for key information.

To be suitable for the role a full or part CCAB or CIMA accountancy qualification is desirable.

Enfield offers a hybrid working arrangement. With an expectation that staff will be in the office a couple of times per month.
