About the Role As a Senior Practitioner Occupational Therapist, you will: -Carry a complex caseload to include major adaptations under Disabled Facilities Grants (DFGs), --moving and handling and postural assessments. -Advise and support OTs with complex casework, as required. -Lead OT Peer Supervision groups. -Work collaboratively across multi-disciplinary teams to promote functional independence, wellbeing, and inclusive practice for adults with diverse needs. -Work alongside OT Team Managers to share clinical expertise.

Main duties of the job

About You You are an HCPC-registered occupational therapist with extensive post-qualification experience in adult social care. You have: -Substantial experience in housing adaptations, including DFG processes and major structural changes. -Expert knowledge of moving and handling principles, risk assessment, and advisory practice. Expertise in postural management and seating solutions for complex physical needs. -In- depth knowledge of legislation including, but not exclusive to, the Care Act, Mental Capacity Act, Housing, and Moving and Handling. -A strong commitment to person-centred, strengths-based approaches -Skills in mentoring, clinical supervision, and evidence-informed practice -Excellent communication, decision-making, and partnership working abilities. -Due to the nature of the role, being a car driver is essential.
