Main duties of the job

Your role As a Social Care Occupational Therapist your days will be varied and fulfilling and include: Undertaking assessments for adults in their own homes who have complex and long-term physical disabilities, to prevent, reduce or delay the need for care. Making recommendations for minor and major home adaptations Assessing for simple and specialised equipment to promote independence and safety at home. Carrying out moving and handling risk assessments and promoting single handed care when possible Performing postural management and seating assessments Carrying out assessments for re-housing applications Providing supervision for occupational therapy aides. Supporting OT students/ OT apprentices

Your role

As a Social Care Occupational Therapist your days will be varied and fulfilling and include:

About You

You are an experienced occupational therapist with a minimum of 2 years working in  Health or Adult Social Care, and with HCPC registration.

You have knowledge of the legislation that applies to social care practice.

You have strong communication skills and organisational skills.

Due to the nature of the role being a car driver is essential.
