We are looking to recruit Bank/Casual Registered Nurses to join our team at Charlton House. This opportunity is ideal for an individual aiming to advance their career and gain hands on experience in a thriving andsupportive workplace.

Residential Services consists of three Community Resource Centres and five Extra Care Services which are based in Keynsham, Bath and Midsomer Norton. Charlton House Community Resource Centre (CRC) is currently a 30-bed nursing and high need residential care home based in Keynsham. You will be joining a friendly, passionate team, who are committed to providing excellent care to our residents. The nature of our work requires kindness and compassion as standard.

As a Bank/Casual worker you can select shifts that you wish to work. Shifts available include weekends, days, and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

  • Must hold a degree or qualification recognised as equivalent by the NMC as a first level registered Nurse and held on the register.
  • Strong team player who with a collaborative work style.
  • Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional.
  • Have significant experience within an older person setting.
  • Good level of communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement.
  • Intermediate IT literacy including Microsoft Office and a knowledge of service-related systems.
  • Ability to deal with non-routine and unpredictable nature of the workload and individual patient contact.
  • The skill to be able to manage your own time, workload, and ability to prioritise.
  • The ability to problem solves, using demonstrable logical decision making.

The Registered Nurse will work independently under the leadership of the Lead Nurse and Registered Manager, working within the sphere of nursing and care and within all aspects of the nursing process.
