Job summary

We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to work with our clinical team based at Charlton House, that understands the BANES Councils visions and values for our servicearea. Charlton House is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) based in Keynsham which is registered to provide care and support for residentsneeding residential and nursing care. The home has 30 registered beds with 15 beds currently occupied.

Main duties of the job

  • Must hold a degree or qualification recognised as equivalent by the NMC as a first level registered Nurse and held on the register.
  • The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement
  • Have significant experience within an older person setting and able to carry out the range of professional services and technical elements including clinical risk assessment and the development of individualised care plans.
  • The ability to be able to problem solve using demonstrable logical decision making.
  • Strong team player who with a collaborative work style.
  • Good levels of IT literacy including Microsoft Office and a knowledge of service-related systems.
  • High level of communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a team.

    This post attracts a market supplement of £4000 per annum, pro rata

    We are looking for compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to work with our clinical team based at Charlton House, that understands the BANES Councils visions and values for our servicearea. Charlton House is a modern Community Resource Centre (CRC) based in Keynsham which is registered to provide care and support for residentsneeding residential and nursing care. The home has 30 registered beds with 15 beds currently occupied.

    The role of Registered Nurse is a rewarding but challenging role where you can make a real positive difference to the residents living within Charlton House Nursing Home. This role is a permanent position. This role will be on a part-time basis working on 24 hours per week on a fixed 4-week rota and we have two positions available. This rotation will demand working days and nights. Shifts will also include weekends and Bank holidays.

    Requirements for the post:

    • Must hold a degree or qualification recognised as equivalent by the NMC as a first level registered Nurse and held on the register.
    • The ability to be proactive, think creatively and identify development opportunities and continuing ways of improvement
    • Have significant experience within an older person setting and able to carry out the range of professional services and technical elements including clinical risk assessment and the development of individualised care plans.
    • The ability to be able to problem solve using demonstrable logical decision making.
