social care procurement? Bath & North East Somerset Council are embarking
on a project to recommission a whole range of community services. As we
approach the end of the current contract the council are recommissioning a
range of community services and are seeking a procurement & commissioning
manager to support them on a fixed term, 2 year contract.

As a
Procurement and Commissioning Manager, you will be a key member of the
Strategic Procurement Team within the Finance Directorate, responsible for
advising and supporting senior management and officers on all aspects of
procurement and commissioning activity. You will work very closely with
commissioning colleagues across our social care and public health teams.

The
successful candidate will have particular experience and expertise in running
procurement activities for social care and public health commissioned services.
You will be a motivated individual who can work as part of a team, in matrix
style management.
