Are you a passionate and motivated nurse looking to develop your career in Occupational Health? Sunderland City Council is offering an exciting opportunity for a registered nurse to join our experienced and supportive Occupational Health team in a developmental role.
About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a nurse with an interest in workplace health and wellbeing to gain specialist experience and training in Occupational Health. You will work alongside experienced Occupational Health Advisors and Physicians, supporting the delivery of high-quality services to council employees and external clients. As part of your development, you will receive:
- Mentorship from experienced OH professionals
- Support to undertake a formal Occupational Health qualification (e.g. SCPHN OH)
Main duties of the job
Were Looking For:
- A registered nurse (NMC) with at least one years experience of working in Occupational Health
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive, compassionate, and professional approach
- Willingness to learn and develop within a supportive team
