Job summary

The role includes Nurse ands healthcare professional led clinics, administering medication and treatments, emergency response, triage, wound care, examinations, and referrals. No two days are the same working in our friendly and supportive team. You must have sound nursing knowledge, lots of valuable experience and demonstrate excellent communication skills.   • Qualified Paramedic with current HCPC registration
  • Evidence of Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

Desirable

  • Teaching and assessing qualification
  • Post registration qualification in autonomous practice or equivalent

Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience including evidence of working in any of these following clinical areas: Accident & Emergency Primary Care environments Minor Injuries / Illness Units
  • Knowledge of current healthcare issues. Knowledge of clinical governance audit, risk management and quality agenda. Working within a multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
  • Competent in clinical practice e.g., phlebotomy, ECG monitoring

Desirable

  • Experience of working within a Health & Justice environment
  • Experience of health needs assessment/Triage
  • Working to Patient Group Directives
