Bank Healthcare Support Worker - Wakefield Sexual Health

Job summary

Spectrum CIC are looking for a dynamic, enthusiastic Bank Health Care Support Worker to work within their Integrated Sexual Health Team. The successful candidate should have previous experience in working within a sexual health setting.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly within the team, this will include evenings and may include some weekend work.

Main duties of the job

The role will include chaperoning, obtaining samples, microscopy, stock control and assisting clinicians in the provision of contraception and the management of sexually transmitted infections. In addition, the post holder will support administration services when required. The post holder will be able to demonstrate Spectrum's values and behaviours.

  • GCSE in Maths and English or equivalent

  • Typing RSA 1

  • In depth knowledge of the range of contraception and sexually transmitted infections
