Job summary
You will be a qualified Registered Pharmacist- BSc or Master's Degree in Pharmacy, holding registration with the general Pharmaceutical Council. You will have a real passion for prison pharmacy and working with others. If you are self-motivated and able to work autonomously as well as showing plenty of initiative when it comes to handling a wide range of situations, then this could be the right role for you! Experience of working in a secure environment would be beneficial but not essential You will be responsible for ensuring that the provision of service meets the contractual obligations. The role will also include reviewing safe systems of working and controlled drug processes ,developing pharmacist led clinics and medicines reviews ,responsibility for providing daily expert advice on pharmaceutical matters and ensuring that a safe but modern medicines management service is provided to our patients.
Main duties of the job
Experience of working within primary care. Experience of leading and implementing change within a health setting. Proven experience of planning, organising a broad range of complex activities in line with strategic plans. Training in Microsoft Office e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Proven experience of provision, collection, analysis, processing synthesis and communicating highly complex data. Experience of leading and developing clinical audit and research.
