Job summary
Working with our friendly dental team, you'll provide essential support that helps appointments run smoothly and ensures every person who attends feels welcome and cared for. You'll play an important part in keeping our service organised and responsive. Your work will help dental staff focus on patient care, while you manage the tasks that keep each surgery prepared, safe and running well. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues and will have chances to build your skills in both administration and clinical support. What you'll do:
- Greet service users and guide them to the right practitioner
- Prepare surgery lists, patient records and paperwork for daily clinics
- Handle queries in person and by phone, passing messages on clearly
- Collect, organise and distribute dental laboratory work and sterilised instruments
- Keep filing, record keeping and general office duties up to date

- Good communication skills and confidence working with people from varied backgrounds
- Basic IT and keyboard skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to stay organised, manage competing tasks and work calmly under pressure
- Previous work or volunteering experience in any setting
- Willingness to learn, follow procedures and maintain confidentiality
