Job summary
Working with our friendly Customer Service team, you'll welcome patients and visitors, helping them find the care and support they need. You'll play an important role in keeping our services running smoothly by offering calm, confident support on reception and over the phone. You'll work closely with colleagues across our health centres and the Care Coordination Hub to make sure every person has a positive experience.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
- Meet and greet patients and visitors, offering clear information and signposting
- Manage incoming calls, messages and emails, handling enquiries with care
- Book and amend appointments, update records and maintain accurate information
- Support referral processing within the Care Coordination Hub
- Use a range of systems, including Microsoft Office and electronic patient records, after training
What we're looking for: - Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- Experience in administration or reception work; you might have worked in a busy office or public-facing role
- Good organisation, attention to detail and confidence using IT
- Someone who can work well as part of a team, use their initiative and adapt to changing needs
