We are looking for a dynamic leader who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and clinical governance agenda is effectively delivered across the organisation.
The post holder will be accountable to the Executive Nurse for all aspects of Quality Improvement, Quality surveillance, Patient Safety, Workforce Development, and Safeguarding. The post holder will provide professional clinical leadership and drive continuous improvement on Information Governance, Infection Prevention and Control, Risk Management, Audit and Research, and Integrated Governance. The post holder is accountable for ensuring that safe, high quality, clinically effective, patient centred care, is delivered to patients, promoting optimal outcomes and experience for patients, their families and carers.

Main duties of the job
This is a multi-faceted role, which involves a high level of leadership, development of a 'Team of Teams' approach and management across all sites delivering healthcare services to adults, and to support the Safeguarding Children's lead in adhering to statutory guidance for Children's Safeguarding detailed in the Working Together to Safeguard Children.
The post holder is accountable for ensuring that safe, high quality, clinically effective, patient centred care, is delivered to patients, promoting optimal outcomes and experience for patients, their families and carers. The role has corporate seniority across the company with responsibility for ensuring the successful, strategic management of the safeguarding policy, processes, and procedures across the organisation, from the front line to the Executive Board.
The post holder will have direct management and leadership responsibility for the Infection Prevention and Control Nurses, Safeguarding Adults Named Nurse, Quality Improvement and Learning and Development Team. They will support the Heads of Service and Assistant Director Medicines Management (Superintendent Pharmacist) in delivery safe, effective high-quality services.

- MSc or MA (level 7) qualification or equivalent (relevant to professional registration, learning and education or advanced practice, or managerial/business development)

- Evidence of on-going continuing professional development
- Formal Coaching, Mentoring or Assessing
