Job summary

Are you an experienced Occupational health professional and established leader ready to inspire?We're looking for a registered health Occupational Health professional with strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills, and a passion for making a difference to manage our OccWellbeing service, supporting the health and wellbeing of our workforce.

Main duties of the job

  • Registered Nurse
  • Degree in nursing studies
  • Postgraduate qualification in relevant nursing studies or equivalent level of knowledge, skills and experience
  • Master's Degree or equivalent knowledge in Occupational Health, skills and experience

Desirable

  • Prescribing qualification (V150) or in process of working towards this qualification with primary care focus
  • Qualification in Leadership and Management

Knowledge

Essential

  • Thorough knowledge and experience of the NHS
  • Proficient computer use including Microsoft Word, Outlook, Project and Internet use
  • Specialist knowledge of personnel
  • Full understanding of relevant policy drivers in Occupational Health
  • Full understanding/application of relevant clinical practice/standards/audit within identified clinical area

Desirable

  • Knowledge of project management systems

Experience

Essential

  • Significant demonstrable post-registration experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development that is relevant to the sphere of care
  • Significant experience in a senior leadership role in a clinical environment
  • Proven ability to formulate and implement strategic plans

  • Able to demonstrate development in practice and expertise
