As part of ongoing development of the Community Children's Nursing Services within City Health Care Partnership CIC, a variety of vacancies for Health Care Support Workers have arisen to join both the Community Children's Nursing Team and Sunshine House short break unit. The successful applicants will join a well-motivated, friendly and very supportive teams who encourage personal and professional development. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop new skills within an innovative and creative environment. We are primarily looking for a full-time post within CCN with some in-reach in the local special needs schools and a full time post for Sunshine House, along with increasing out Bank Staff provision across the service. T

Main duties of the job

hese varied roles will be based within Community Children's Nursing Team and Sunshine House, supporting both clinics and nursing care in the community, along with provision into special needs schools and short breaks. As an integral part of the team, you will demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills and have recent experience in working alongside children and their families. You will be flexible to work with different staff teams providing nursing care across Hull and East Riding. The role will incorporate caring for children and their families within a range of environments including school, home and other care or respite settings. The CCN Service covers both acute and complex conditions, phlebotomy and wound clinics, and continence support. We also incorporate palliative and end of life care, when needed. We strive to provide seamless and transparent service and would welcome prospective applicants to speak to a community nursing team member, should they want to get a feel for the role before application.
