  • Educated to master's degree (Level 7) in a relevant subject or equivalent experience
  • PMO related professional qualification: either attained or working towards
  • Evidence of ongoing continuing professional development

Desirable

  • Coaching and/or Mediation Qualification

Knowledge

Essential

  • Highly developed knowledge and understanding of managing successful programmes and projects
  • Highly developed knowledge of performance management requirements and processes
  • Knowledge of tendering processes in relation to procurement and re-procurement of services
  • Significant managerial knowledge
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications

Experience

Essential

  • Significant operational management experience, including leading and supervising complex teams and services.
  • Demonstrable experience at a senior operational management in a provider organisation.
  • Experience of providing strategic and professional leadership for the management, development and efficient utilisation of large and complex programmes and projects.
  • Experience of working with Directors, senior managers/senior clinicians to develop/implement client responsive services
  • Experience of multi-agency working
  • Experience of internal and external stakeholder management
  • Experience of working with commissioners
  • Experience of contract management responsibilities within a provider organisation

  • Experience of strategic working across Health and Local Authority boundaries in support of work being led by Integrated Care systems and other collaborations.
