Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a newly established dedicated team supporting adults in Hull and East Riding with Type 1 Diabetes and Eating disorders (T1DE). The post is for 1 year and is part of a national pilot project. The job will allow the post holder to be supported within the Evolve - Hull Community Eating Disorder Service.
Main duties of the job
The post would suit a practitioner with a special interest in eating disorders; diabetes training and close supervision will be supported.

Essential
- Level 5 Professional Health Qualification, RMN, RN, SW, OT or equivalent therapy training with recognised accreditation
- HCPC Registered
- Member of relevant professional body
- Evidence of further professional development to postgraduate level or equivalent experience
Knowledge
Essential
- Specialist Knowledge/understanding and experience of T1DE management and treatments.
Desirable
- Knowledge of mental health risk assessment
- Understanding of current mental health legislation pertaining to the management of eating disorders
- Knowledge of research and audit methods
Experience

- Significant experience of working with eating disorders
- Ability to independently manage a caseload
- Ability to independently carry out specialist eating disorder assessments.
- Use of IT equipment/systems, to produce reports and audits.
- Experience in MDT working within the mental health setting
