Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response Lead

Job summary
City Health Care Partnership (CHCP) CIC is looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Emergency Preparedness, Resilience and Response (EPRR) Lead. The EPRR Lead will work on specific projects to help CHCP fulfil its duties as a Category 2 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 and meet its obligations as described within the NHS England Core Standards for EPRR.
The EPRR Lead will promote continuous improvement in CHCPs EPRR arrangements and will undertake joint working with colleagues in partner organisations to enhance plans and processes for emergency preparedness.Supporting the CHCP Accountable Emergency Officer (AEO) and Quality Improvement and Safeguarding team members, the EPRR Lead will contribute to the full cycle of emergency preparedness, from risk management and planning to training and exercising. The EPRR Lead will also have a role in the delivery of EPRR assurance processes and will support processes that aim to identify learning from incidents and exercises.
Main duties of the job
The EPRR Lead will be part of the CHCP Quality Improvement and Safeguarding team that provides specialist advice and support to CHCP Directors, senior managers, corporate leads and other CHCP staff who have a potential role in incident response or business continuity management arrangements. The EPRR Lead will also liaise with colleagues in partner organisations to support joint working for emergency preparedness across Humber and North Yorkshire.
You will have experience of working operationally within healthcare services and you will have some knowledge and experience of Risk Management systems and processes for managing and reporting incidents and investigation, you will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to present reports and data to senior management both verbally and in writing. You will need to be able to analyse and clearly present complex data. In turn we will offer training, flexibility and support to work in a challenging environment as a valued member of the team.
