Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response Lead

Job summary
The post holder will support the Head of Quality Improvement and Safeguarding and Accountable Emergency Officer with the responsibility of ensuring CHCP is prepared to respond appropriately in the event of an incident or emergency either internally or externally and to help ensure that we can meet its obligations as a category 2 responder under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, NHS Act 2006, the NHS Standard Contract and the requirements identified in the NHS Emergency Preparedness Resilience and Response Framework July 2022.
The post holder will support the Head of Quality Improvement and Safeguarding and Accountable Officer by ensuring CHCP has the appropriate processes and effective arrangements in place to respond to all known and emerging/developing EPRR risks, for example: Business Continuity and Critical Incidents, Major Incident, mass casualties' preparations, Pandemic/regional outbreak/disease management.
To maintain service delivery and provide business continuity across the organisation The post holder will work alongside the Head of service and Accountable Officer for EPRR and facilitate the necessary EPRR training or documentation relevant to the post. Assist the Head of service and Accountable Officer for EPRR in ensuring that all elements of CHCP meet the NHSE EPRR Core Standards.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will become a member of the Quality Improvement and Compliance Team and maintain the core values of CHCP You will have experience of working operationally within healthcare services and you will have some knowledge and experience of Risk Management systems and processes for managing and reporting incidents and investigation, you will have excellent communication skills, and the ability to present reports and data to senior management both verbally and in writing.
You will need to be able to analyse and clearly present complex data. In turn we will offer training, flexibility and support to work in a challenging environment as a valued member of the team.
