Job summary
A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for two band 5 registered nurses to work within the Intermediate Care Team at Highfield Community Rehabilitation Centre.
We are looking for dedicated and passionate nurses to join the team to provide rehabilitation to service users in a community bedded unit. The ideal candidates would have some community experience, however, full training and support will be provided.
The successful candidates will work as part of a team to provide a safe, effective, efficient care environment for patients, relatives, and carers. They will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care under indirect supervision from senior staff.
Main duties of the job
- To support senior and to supervise junior staff in the provision of competent, sensitive and safenursing care within the Community Ward/Community Short Stay Unit
- Take responsibility for running of the department during a shift in the absence of more senior staff
- Take responsibility for assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care for a group of patients
