Job summary

City Health Care Partnership CIC are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic individuals to join the team of Support Staff in the Urgent Treatment Centre based at the East Riding Community Hospital. There will be a requirement to work at times to cover others bases within the East Riding. The post holder will be responsible for supporting Practitioners, GP's, and other professionals in the delivery of an integrated urgent care service to the local population.

The position offers an exciting opportunity for highly motivated and enthusiastic people who can provide comprehensive administrative support to the service. Candidates will be responsible for the day to day running of the Urgent Treatment Centre including reception, administration, stock control and driving duties with a high level of customer service, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Main duties of the job

Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy and demanding environment. The service runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so applicants must be prepared to work a variety of shift patterns including day, evening, and overnight shifts including bank holidays and weekends.

Essential

  • Level 2 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Word processing to OCR level 2 standard International Computer Driving License (ICDL) or able to demonstrate high level of keyboard skills and knowledge
  • Current Full Driving License
  • Basic Life Support training or willingness to undertake

Knowledge

  • Knowledge of a range of reception and administration procedures.
  • Standard IT skills including basic knowledge of Microsoft programmes.
