Job summary
We are pleased to advertise the role of Team Lead for Smokefree Knowsley. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic lead; you should have good knowledge of smokefree agenda and helping people to quit smoking. Experience of leading a team would be advantageous.
Main duties of the job
The role of the Team Leader is to support the Operational Lead in managing and developing the service. The Team Leader is expected to line manage Stop Smoking Advisors who offer support to clients wishing to become smoke free across a range of settings in our communities.

- Health Promotion qualification or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Evidence of continued learning from personal development

- An understanding of voluntary and community sector organisations and the contributions they make to the health and wellbeing of individuals.
- An understanding of health and social care infrastructure and how services are provided to the local population
- Knowledge of Health and Social Care Reform. Current government agenda's and localised strategies and documents
- An understanding of community development and asset based approaches to promote engagement
- An understanding of the barriers and challenges that people may face in connecting to and accessing local activities and support
