Job summary

City Health Care Partnership Integrated nursing and Conditions Service have a vacancy for a part time Band 3 Senior Administrator within the Hull and East Riding Specialist Palliative Care and Bee at Home Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic person to provide comprehensive administrative support to the service.

Main duties of the job

Candidates must be able to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good organisational, communication and interpersonal skills are essential along with the ability to work calmly and efficiently in a busy and demanding environment, the work requires exposure to emotive and sensitive situations at times.

  • NVQ Level 3 in Business Administration or Customer Service or equivalent knowledge and experience
  • Word processing to RSA 2 standard of European Computer Driving License (EDCL) or able to demonstrate appropriate level of skill

Knowledge and Experience

  • Comprehensive knowledge of a range of routine administration procedures
  • Knowledge of a range of software programmes, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Previous experience of working in an office environment and carrying out general officer procedures
  • Previous experience of supervising a team
  • Previous experience of working with general public

Desirable

  • Knowledge of other Microsoft packages
  • Experience of SystmOne functions
  • Previous NHS experience
