Job summary

Are you a dynamic problem-solver looking for an exciting opportunity to showcase your skills? CHCP is seeking a talented individual to join our Business Intelligence team in a hybrid Analyst / Developer role. In this position, you will have the chance to utilise and enhance your technical abilities across various areas, including SQL and TSQL (Microsoft SQL Server), data presentation and analysis (Excel, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Microsoft Power BI), as well as basic web app development (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). While familiarity and experience in these areas are essential, we value the ability to independently research and explore innovative solutions more than deep technical expertise.

As part of the Business Intelligence team, the successful candidate will be involved in developing digital solutions for a diverse range of corporate and clinical services to help drive informed decision-making, optimise processes, and ultimately enhance patient care. Although you will initially provide support to other analysts and developers, we expect you to quickly take on independent projects and assume responsibility for all aspects of development, including collaborating with senior management and other stakeholders.

Main duties of the job

This role is currently being offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract with a strong likelihood of extension into a permanent position. You will enjoy a varied routine, working 37.5 hours over 5 days per week with some flexibility. Our team members currently work flexibly from both the Business Support Centre (Beacon Way, Hull - at least 2 days per week) and their homes. We are actively exploring long-term plans to maintain this flexibility.

If you are passionate about using your technical skills to drive positive change in the healthcare sector, we encourage you to apply. Join CHCP and be part of a dedicated team working towards improving healthcare outcomes and making a difference in the lives of individuals and communities.
