Are you a registered manager or looking to become one? Would you like to take on a new challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered manager at Holy Name Community Rehabilitation Centre.
This is a 64 bedded facility which cares for patients with multiple health conditions. We currently have a dementia unit, residential and nursing residents along with patients requiring rehabilitation which is provided by a multi-disciplinary team of nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, health care assistants, therapy assistants, pharmacists, advanced nurse practitioners and consultants.
As the registered manager you would be responsible for the day to day running of the unit, ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures, national guidance and fulfilling CQC requirements. You will be a budget holder and responsible for delivering the service within the financial envelope.
The successful candidate would be supported by the senior management team.

Main duties of the job
o Manages a team of care workers, senior care workers, deputy managers & support staff that provide aquality/specialist residential service for all clients that access the bedded facility at Holy Name ensuringsafety of the client for the 24-hour period.
o Works closely in partnership with ICT in supporting the residential care provision to patients dischargedfrom hospital that require a multi-disciplinary response.
o Recognises recurring issues and analyses their cause in order to aid enforcement and serviceimprovement. Responsible for coordination and preparation of regulatory submissions and strategies tothe Care Quality Commission. Develops and maintains regulatory knowledge linked to guidance, concordance, and legislation. Negotiates and communicates effectively with regulatory bodies to maximise quality provision for complex client groups. Develops a quality assurance scheme in line with the NHS national guidance that will improve the health care needs and quality of life for clients in the facility. Undertakes consultation with service users and their families to inform the enforcement and monitoring of processes.
