Job summary

Innovate ADHD Ltd is expanding our prescribing team, and we're looking for passionate professionals to join us in revolutionising ADHD care!

The post holder will work as a specialist ADHD prescriber within Innovate ADHD's multidisciplinary team, delivering remote medication management clinics for patients with ADHD and co-occurring neurodiverse and mental health presentations. The role requires independent, autonomous clinical practice within professional and regulatory frameworks, providing high-quality, safe, and person-centred prescribing across our NHS and private caseloads.

Main duties of the job

  • Provide specialist clinical care for patients aged 765 with ADHD and co-occurring neurodiverse and mental health difficulties across Innovate ADHD's services.
  • Prescribe medication and manage individualised treatment plans in line with NICE guidelines and Innovate ADHD's prescribing protocols.
  • Lead and coordinate ADHD medication review clinics, ensuring access and patient flow are prioritised across NHS and private pathways.
  • Manage a caseload, applying analysis of complex clinical information to determine appropriate assessment and treatment planning.
  • Ensure high standards of patient safety, clinical governance, and CQC regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with NHS Integrated Care Boards, Right to Choose partners, schools, occupational health providers, and mental health professionals.
  • Work autonomously within professional practice guidelines and Innovate ADHD's clinical policies and standard operating procedures.
  • Contribute to service development, audit, and evaluation, and support the training and supervision of clinical staff including CAP apprentices.

    Innovate ADHD Ltd is a specialist, CQC-regulated ADHD assessment and treatment service. We are a startup with real ambition we have built our foundations carefully, with strong clinical governance, a neurodivergent-affirming ethos, and a genuine commitment to quality care.

    We are currently mobilising NHS Right to Choose contracts with Integrated Care Boards, for adults aged 18-65, and hope to expand to children and wider neurodevelopmental assessments in the near future.

    Our team is multidisciplinary and growing, bringing together psychologists, nurses, pharmacists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and Clinical Associates in Psychology. We work collaboratively, take supervision and professional development seriously, and believe that looking after our staff is inseparable from delivering excellent patient care.

    • Conduct remote ADHD medication initiation, titration, and review appointments for patients aged 765 in line with NICE guidelines (NG87 and NG98) and Innovate ADHD's prescribing protocols.
    • Undertake thorough clinical assessments prior to initiating or adjusting prescriptions, including review of diagnostic reports, risk screening, physical health parameters, and co-occurring presentations.
    • Prescribe within scope of practice as a registered Non-Medical Prescriber or Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, adhering to all relevant regulatory and professional standards.
    • Manage complex presentations including ADHD with co-occurring anxiety, mood disorders, autism, and other neurodiverse profiles, liaising with the wider clinical team as appropriate.
    • Ensure robust monitoring of medication side effects, physical health markers, and patient wellbeing at each review point.
