Job summary
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Business Development Intern to join our growing team at Innovate ADHD Ltd. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in healthcare business development, with a particular focus on building and maintaining relationships with GPs, charities, and other healthcare providers.
In this role, you will play a key part in expanding our referral networks and raising awareness of our ADHD assessment and treatment services across the healthcare sector. You will have the opportunity to develop your professional skills in stakeholder engagement, communication, and strategic outreach, all within a supportive and dynamic environment.

Main duties of the job
Your primary responsibility will be to liaise with GP surgeries, charities, and other healthcare providers to build strong working relationships. Day-to-day duties will include:
- Researching and identifying potential referral partners, including GP practices, mental health charities, and community organisations
- Making initial contact with stakeholders via email, telephone, and in-person visits to introduce our services
- Supporting the development of marketing materials and presentations for external audiences
- Attending networking events, conferences, and community meetings to represent the organisation
- Maintaining accurate records of all outreach activities and stakeholder interactions
- Assisting with the preparation of proposals and partnership agreements
- Gathering feedback from partners to help improve our services and referral pathways
- Supporting the wider business development team with administrative tasks and project coordination

Purpose of the Role
The Business Development Intern will support the growth of Innovate ADHD by building and maintaining relationships with GP surgeries, charities, and other healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with GP surgeries to promote awareness of ADHD referral pathways, including the Right to Choose process, and build strong working relationships with practice managers and clinical staff
- Identify and engage with charities, voluntary organisations, and community groups working in ADHD, neurodiversity, and mental health to explore partnership and referral opportunities
- Establish and maintain relationships with other healthcare providers, including NHS trusts, private clinics, and allied health professionals, to develop collaborative referral arrangements
- Research and map potential referral partners across target regions to support strategic outreach planning
- Prepare and deliver presentations, information packs, and promotional materials tailored to different healthcare audiences
- Attend networking events, conferences, health fairs, and community meetings to represent Innovate ADHD and generate new contacts
