Job summary

About the role

This role is the key liaison between clinicians and the Operations Team. Youll provide prompt, accurate support with clinical processes, documentation and systems, helping clinicians complete assessments and reports efficiently. Working closely with the Service Lead, youll resolve issues, prevent delays and maintain smooth workflow across the diagnostic pathway.

Youll be a calm, confident communicator with strong problem-solving skills. While the role is non-clinical, experience in healthcare, psychology or clinical environments is desirable.

Main duties of the job

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as first point of contact for clinician queries on processes, workflow and systems
  • Resolve issues quickly and professionally, escalating when needed
  • Monitor workflow, identify delays and support timely assessments and reports
  • Maintain positive relationships with clinicians and internal teams
  • Support quality standards, governance and safeguarding requirements
  • Use systems to track schedules, documentation and performance data
  • Contribute to service improvements and operational efficiency

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, empathetic and solution-focused
  • Strong organisation, attention to detail and prioritisation
  • Confident handling sensitive information and safeguarding matters
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and operational systems
