Job summary

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team in Dagenham, supporting one of our clients with a range of complex health needs. Our client is a very happy boy, who loves people, being talked to, and hugged. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

Main duties of the job

The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for providing personal care and mobility support, supporting with clinical tasks, and promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction. They will need experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including enteral feeding, oral and nasopharyngeal suctioning, nebulizer, cough assist, non-invasive ventilation, and medication administration.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and mobility support

  • Supporting with clinical tasks

  • Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs

  • Essential experience:

    • Enteral feeding

    • Oral and Nasopharyngeal suctioning

    • Nebulizer

    • Cough assist

    • Non Invasive Ventilation

    • Medication Administration

  • A calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach
