Main duties of the job

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide 1:1 specialist support to a client living with complex health needs, including tracheostomy and airway management. This is a community-based role supporting the client in their home and the local community. Key responsibilities include tracheostomy care, ventilation support, PEG/enteral feeding, seizure management, oral and tracheal suctioning, medication administration, and personal care. You will also support with meaningful activities such as yoga, drumming, community centre visits, and sensory activities.

About the Role – Complex Care Assistant (Home Care)

As a Complex Care Assistant, you will provide 1:1 specialist support to a client living with complex health needs, including tracheostomy and airway management.

This is a community-based role supporting the client in her home and the local community.

Clinical Responsibilities Include:
