Complex Care Assistant – Streatham Contract: Zero-hours Location: Streatham

Pay Rates: £16.53 - £21.48

Shifts: Monday to Friday + alternate weekends, 08:00 – 20:00

Client Interests Include:

• Sensory lights

• Hand and foot massages

• Listening to music (Gospel, Afro beats, and more)

• Storytime with a carer

• Sensory activities: sand, water, Playdough, and touch-and-feel play

• Messy play

• Outdoor walks in warm weather

• Lots of positive attention, interaction, and laughter

Important Note: To ensure the client’s comfort and safety, carers should avoid strong scents including perfume, deodorant, alcohol gel, and strongly-scented laundry products. Light scents are fine — the focus is an allergy-friendly environment.

Essential Experience:

• Tracheostomy care

• Oral & tracheal suctioning

• Dystonia & seizure management

• Learning disabilities

• Medication administration (Upskilling is not available for these core competencies — experience required)

Qualifications

Essential

• Essential experience includes tracheostomy care, oral and tracheal suctioning, dystonia and seizure management, learning disabilities, and medication administration.
