Main duties of the job

As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care and mobility support, assisting with clinical tasks, and promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction for our client. The role involves supporting the client with their weekly aqua hydro physio sessions and accompanying them to London for respite visits.

Brain Injury Support Worker  Location: Slough  Pay: £14.42-£15.45 per hour  Shifts:Thursday, Friday and Saturday 8am to 16:30

We’re looking for a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team in Slough, supporting one of our clients with a range of complex health needs.

Our client enjoys aqua hydro physio in the swimming pool and will require driving there once a week. He likes to go to London for respite, it is sometimes at his Mother’s house. As his support worker you will travel to and from her house in London to support the client during this time. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and mobility support

  • Supporting with clinical tasks

  • Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction

What You’ll Need:

  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own car
  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs

  • Essential experience:

  • Brain Injury

  • A calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach
