We’re offering an exciting opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client with complex needs in Redditch, Worcestershire.

Pay: £15.00 per hour weekdays, £16.00 per hour weekends.

Hours: 24 per week over four days (Mon, Tues, Weds & Fri)

About the Role

You’ll be supporting a young lady in her 20's who has complex needs due to brain injury, including: cerebral palsy, mobility issues, epilepsy and visual impairment. We're looking for someone with experience in complex care and the ability to build a strong, supportive relationship through clear communication and empathy.

She lives at home with her family, enjoys music and concerts, the cinema, bowling, shopping, arts & crafts and spending time with her friends. Your role will be to support her physically and emotionally, helping her live life to the fullest.

What We’re Looking For

Due to the client's needs, we’re seeking a female support worker with:

  • A genuine passion for care and making a difference
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature
  • Reliable, committed, and flexible approach
  • Experience in complex care and managing challenging behaviours
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

You’ll need to be confident working independently and collaboratively, with the ability to build a trusting relationship with the client and her family.

Key Responsibilities

  • As a support worker, you will:
  • Assist with personalised routines, including use of hoists
  • Support with daily living activities such as personal hygiene and mobility
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions
  • Provide emotional support and companionship
  • Maintain accurate care records and report any changes
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and family members
