Job summary

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team in Ilford, supporting one of our clients with a range of complex health needs. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

Main duties of the job

The Complex Care Assistant will be responsible for providing personal care and mobility support, supporting with clinical tasks, and promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction for our client. The successful candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, including essential skills in areas such as enteral feeding, oxygen therapy, seizure management, non-invasive ventilation, and medication administration.

Complex Care Assistant  Location: Ilford, London   Pay: £15.53-£20.88  Shifts: Monday to Thursday 9am-9pm, Friday 9am-9.30pm                  Saturday & Sunday 12pm-10pm

Our client enjoys his routine, playing with his toys and making sounds with them, he likes going to the day centre and going out and explore. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and mobility support

  • Supporting with clinical tasks

  • Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs

  • Essential experience:

    • Enteral feeding

    • Oxygen Therapy

    • Seizure Management Epilepsy

    • Seizure Management Rescue Medication

    • Non Invasive Ventilation 

    • Medication Administration

  • A calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach
