Job summary

This is a role as a Brain Injury Support Worker with Libertatem Healthcare Group in Prenton, Birkenhead. The successful candidate will provide 1:1 person-centred support to a sociable client with brain and orthopaedic injuries, helping them live life to the fullest by accompanying them to activities such as Liverpool FC home games, live music, and the theatre. The role offers flexible working hours of 20-30 hours per week, and a competitive hourly rate of £15.

Main duties of the job

As a Brain Injury Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing personal care, mobility, and daily living support to the client. This includes administering medication, monitoring wellbeing, providing companionship and emotional support, accompanying the client to appointments and social activities, and keeping accurate records. You will need to have proven experience in brain injury support, a caring and flexible approach, and be comfortable around pets as the client has a variety of animals.
