We have an excellent opportunity for a support worker to work alongside our client in Braintree, Essex on a bank basis.

Operating on a national basis, we provide our clients with care and support wherever they are located. Our packages put our client’s independence at the very centre of everything we do.

• Supporting, and engaging with personalised routines inclusive of hoists.
• Completing daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility.
• Administering medication and monitoring health conditions.
• Providing emotional support and companionship.
• Maintaining accurate records of care provided and reporting any changes in clients’ conditions.
• Collaborating with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for working with people and providing care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature.
• Reliability, commitment, and flexibility.
• Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care.
• To be able to deal with challenging behaviours.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

• A genuine passion for working with people and providing care, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature, reliability, commitment, and flexibility, previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, ability to deal with challenging behaviours, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
