Main duties of the job

As a Spinal Injury Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping one of the clients in Devizes with their day-to-day activities, building their independence, and offering companionship. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily routines and personal tasks, encouraging independence and skill-building, offering emotional support and friendly companionship, and keeping clear records of care and sharing updates with the team.

  • Experience in supporting individuals with spinal injuries 
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  • Great communication skills and the ability to build a trusting relationship
  • Compassion, patience, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a supportive team
