Job summary
Sonderwell is looking for a female support worker (driver) to provide person-centered and individualized support to vulnerable adults with a variety of disabilities, such as physical or learning disabilities, mental health issues, acquired brain injuries, or addiction. The role involves assisting with household tasks, shopping, community access, leisure and social activities, medication administration, and personal care.
Main duties of the job
The support worker role at Sonderwell is challenging, rewarding, and varied. You will be responsible for providing support to adults with varying disabilities to enable them to live independently in their own homes. This may include assisting with household tasks, shopping, accessing the community, participating in leisure and social activities, administering medication, and providing personal care. No prior experience is required as full training will be provided, but you must have the willingness and passion to promote independence and provide person-centered support.
