Job responsibilities

Sonderwell Staffing Solutions are seeking enthusiastic Nursery Assistants who can play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. You will support daily activities that promote learning and development, ensuring each child thrives. Your responsibilities may include: 

• Assist in the planning and implementation of engaging activities and lessons.
• Support children during daily routines, including meals, naptime, and personal hygiene.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
• Observe and document children’s progress and developmental milestones.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children.
• Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall nursery experience.

As a Nursery Assistant each day is completely different!

You will engage children in play-based learning activities, fostering their creativity and curiosity. Throughout the day, you will help with snack and mealtime routines, support nap times, and encourage social interactions among the children. You will observe their play and development, documenting milestones and providing feedback to parents. Each day will be filled with laughter, exploration, and the joy of watching young minds grow!
