Main duties of the job

We're looking for a compassionate and skilled Care Assistant to join our team in Islington, supporting one of our clients with a range of complex health needs. The role involves providing personal care and mobility support, supporting with clinical tasks, and promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction. The successful candidate will have experience supporting individuals with complex care needs, as well as essential experience in areas such as enteral feeding, tracheostomy, seizure management, ventilation, and medication administration.

Complex Care Assistant  Location: Islington, London   Pay: £13.39 per hour  Shifts: Monday to Sunday 8pm-8am

Our client enjoys going to museums, she loves listening to music and watching music videos, she attends church every Sunday with her family and she really enjoys her sensor time. This role is ideal for someone who values building meaningful connections and providing consistent, person-centred care.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Providing personal care and mobility support

  • Supporting with clinical tasks

  • Promoting comfort, calm, and positive interaction

What You’ll Need:

  • Experience supporting individuals with complex care needs

  • Essential experience:

    • Enteral feeding

    • Tracheostomy

    • Seizure Management Epilepsy

    • Ventilation 

    • Oral Suctioning

    • Tracheal Suctioning

    • Medication Administration

  • A calm, reliable, and emotionally intuitive approach
