Job summary
To provide specified respiratory investigations to clients/patients and administrative/QC support to the respiratory department in line with company quality procedures.
This clinic is a community based hub so the individual will be working independently and remotely to our main site. Full remote support will be available.
16hrs per week Monday - Friday Fixed term 12 month contract in the first instance.
Main duties of the job
The
role requires good interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the post
holder being computer literate and having knowledge of Microsoft word and
Excel. There is a need for a high standard of literacy and numeracy within the
work and the post holder will hold and maintain the ARTP Full Certificate in Spirometry.
Due
to the nature of the work, and in the interests of patient care, there is a
need for absolute accuracy and patient confidentiality at all times as well as
adherence to the Companys rigorous quality procedures, Standard Operating
Procedures (SOP). In turn this requires
the post holder to be committed, conscientious and motivated and able to work
effectively as a member of a team in a pressured environment.
Enhanced
Adult & Child Barred DBS will be undertaken prior to employment start.

of electrocardiograms and entry of data
- Ensuring
a high standard of patient/client care including the cleanliness and stocking
of clinical areas
- To
train in Basic Life Support
- Administrative
& QC procedures
- Maintain
and update professional knowledge including new procedures and techniques
- Perform
Lung Functions, nebulisation and reversibility testing.
Enhanced DBS will be required for the successful candidate
