Job summary
The Shared Services Manager will lead and oversee all administrative teams across all functions to ensure administrative targets are achieved, manage estates and facilities and work closely with the Operations Manager and IT manager at Express Diagnostics. This role will ensure excellence and a consistently high standard of quality is delivered to our patients.
The role will ensure that best practice is embedded and will drive continual improvement, looking for better more intuitive ways of working to streamline and develop. They will assume responsibility and accountability for meeting key performance indicated objectives in relation to all shared functions.
The role requires highly developed communication skills in order to be able to lead managers and services to achieve business goals. The post holder will be committed, conscientious and motivated at all times and be able to liaise/communicate effectively with personnel at all levels and work within the Companys rigorous quality procedures, Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as an effective member of the senior management team.
Main duties of the job
Work alongside both the Managing Director and Operations Manager to aid and implement delivery of strategic, operational, and developmental plans and objectives from a clinical perspective.
To manage workforce planning to optimise use of administrative functions to satisfy contractual obligations with regards to timely and appropriate health service delivery
Strategize and plan for the shared services according to company standards for excellent service and growth
Ensuring teams are performing consistently to KPIs and service levels
Monitor compliance to legal guidelines, data protection, internal policies and quality standards
Plan and oversee all administrative operations and programs
Collaborate with the Quality Manager and co-ordinate the enactment, review and improvements of risk management strategies, policy implementation, workplace procedures, information governance, and clinical governance plans to ensure meeting appropriate and internal and external audit guidelines and required legislative standards
Identifying areas for improvement
Coordinate and supervise staff providing constructive feedback
Lead on Data Protection for Express Diagnostics
To act as an effective team player within the Senior Management Team, assuming additional ad-hoc roles and responsibilities in times of high demand, or as support to fellow managers
