Job summary

We are pleased to share an exciting opportunity to join our Sales Team as a Prosthetics Product Manager, supporting and driving the growth of Steepers prosthetic products across the UK.

This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by enhancing relationships with both internal and external UK customers through first-class product support. While strong clinical expertise is desirable as well as commercial awareness, full training will be provided so previous sales experience, while beneficial, is not essential.

Main duties of the job

Responsibilities:

  • Manage designated areas of the companys prosthetic product sales, delivering a professional, responsive, and proactive service to meet and exceed customer expectations.
  • Participate in regular review meetings with internal teams (including Steeper Prosthetic branches) and external stakeholders as required.
  • Focus on the promotion, support, and sales of Steepers lower and upper extremity prosthetic components across the UK.
  • Support the sales and distribution of the companys high-definition custom silicone products within the UK.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across Steeper to meet customer needs and ensure communications are handled professionally and efficiently.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, supporting current operations and future opportunities.
  • Be the point of contact for customer enquiries to ensure positive outcomes and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Steeper at UK exhibitions and conferences, delivering product presentations and workshops.

Job responsibilities

To manage specific areas of the companys product sales business in line with company expectations and to deliver a professional, timely and proactive service to ensure that customer needs are met, and budget targets are met / exceeded.

Primary -

i.) To focus on delivery and support for the companys lower extremity prosthetic component sales activities within the UK.

ii.) To focus on the delivery and support of the companys upper extremity prosthetic product sales within the UK and overseas markets.

Secondary -

i.) To support the delivery of the companys high-definition custom silicone product sales within the UK and overseas markets

Utilise sales analyses as appropriate to ensure understanding of the product sales performance.

Understand the budget process and manage the relevant business sector to ensure required targets are met.

Support the Senior Product Manager and Product Sales Director as necessary in delivering a high quality, customer focused sales strategy, ensuring budget requirements are met / exceeded.

Manage prosthetic component sales within the relevant territories to deliver high quality, efficient and consistent performance to internal and external customers.

Work closely with Customer Services to provide effective support for their operational and commercial actions.

Liaise with other Managers and their teams as required to ensure customer needs are fulfilled and that communications to customers are managed in a professional and proactive manner.

Build and maintain close relationships with key customer contacts in UK and overseas to facilitate current and future business.

Build and maintain close relationships with key supplier contacts in UK and overseas to facilitate current and future business.

Maintain a customer focused sales culture within the Sales Team which directly helps generate business growth.

Ensure customer complaints are resolved and corrective actions are completed on a timely basis to achieve a positive customer outcome.

Support UK and overseas exhibitions / conferences and give presentations and workshops on products within the Steeper product portfolio.

Experience

Essential

  • Be a qualified Prosthetist/Orthotist, registered with the Health and Care Professions Council.
  • Possess excellent both written and oral communication and interpersonal skills appropriate to dealing with technical, operation and commercial issues with both internal/external customers.
